🌿 San Vito Romano has a new address: www.sanvitoromanolovers.org ❤️
Dear friends of SanVitoRomano Lovers, today we are sharing something we have been working on for a long time: our community’s website is online!
We made it for those who live in San Vito, for those who come back every summer and for those who have never been and are looking for a good reason to visit. Inside you will find:
📍 Places – the squares, the churches, Theodoli Castle, the springs and parks of the town, and then the sanctuaries, villages and monasteries nearby, with photos and a map.
🥾 Trails – strolls through the old town and walks in the countryside, with the route on the map and photos taken along the way.
🗓️ What to do – ready-made itineraries for a stay of 3, 5, 7 or 15 days, day by day and hour by hour.
🎉 Events – food festivals, feasts and concerts in San Vito and within about an hour’s drive, always up to date.
📜 History and Legends – from the Castrum Sancti Viti to the Colonna and the Theodoli, down to the stories grandparents used to tell in the evening.
📰 News and Articles – notices from the town council and stories of the town past and present, often born from your memories and your photos.
🎭 Culture&Tourism – activities for spending time together and keeping the town alive.
🛏️ Where to stay – places for those who want to stop for a few days.
🌍 The whole site is also available in Italian.
🧳 Our dream is to see many tourists in San Vito Romano: to discover the village, but also because San Vito is a strategic base from which to visit many places in the surrounding area, a good number of which are described on this site.
The site has only just been born and will grow together with you. Do you have an old photo, a memory, a family story, an event to report or a mistake to correct? Write to us here in the group or at info@sanvitoromanolovers.org: every contribution is precious.
💡 It is really important for us to understand how the site can keep getting better: we have many ideas to bring to life on these pages, and we look forward to hearing from you, our readers.
👉 Visit it, have a look around and tell us what you think: https://www.sanvitoromanolovers.org/en/
And if you like it, share this post: it is the simplest way to introduce San Vito Romano to those who do not know it yet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️
