On Sunday 18 October 2026, guide Paolo Felli leads “Il balcone sui Simbruini” (The balcony over the Simbruini), a hike to Monte Autore in the Monti Simbruini Regional Nature Park. The meeting point is Campo dell’Osso at 9:00 AM, with the return expected at 5:00 PM.
From Campo dell’Osso the route climbs through centuries-old beech forests to Monna dell’Orso and then to the Monte Autore viewpoint, overlooking Vallepietra and the glacial Simbrivio valley. The way back follows a shorter path to the panoramic point and then retraces the outbound route. In all it is about 10 km, with 380 metres of elevation gain and 5 hours of walking; the difficulty is E (hiking grade).
