On Sunday 18 October 2026 there is a walk in the Monti Prenestini with the promotional hike “In cammino da Capranica Prenestina a Monte Guadagnolo”, organised by the Associazione per il Cammino Naturale dei Parchi for the trail’s tenth anniversary. The meeting point is at 9:00 AM in Piazza Pietro Baccelli, Capranica Prenestina, from where the route climbs towards Guadagnolo.
The route is about 8 km long, for three and a half hours of walking, with 480 metres of ascent and 200 of descent: a ridge hike through pastures and woods up to Monte Guadagnolo (1,218 metres), in a Special Protection Area. A guided visit to the Museo Civico Naturalistico dei Monti Prenestini is also included.
Participation is free, but booking is required by Thursday 15 October on the Trekking Italia website. In the afternoon, at 4:30 PM, the Museum hosts the talk “Tracciati”: the roads of staying.
