On Saturday 31 October 2026, from 3:30 PM, the Pro Loco Monte Livata - Campo dell’Osso holds the 7th Festa della Castagna (Chestnut Festival) in Piazzetta Kristal, to welcome autumn on the plateau among the beech woods of the Simbruini mountains.
On the programme are music, paper cones of roast chestnuts and sweets. Since the festival falls on 31 October, there is also a Halloween special with a prize for the most original costume. For information the Pro Loco can be reached on +39 377 381 2359 (WhatsApp too).
