On Saturday 31 October 2026 Il Bosco di Paliano, the park in the Selva di Paliano woods a few kilometres from the Colleferro exit of the A1 motorway, celebrates Halloween with the fifth edition of “Halloween al Bosco”, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The day is designed above all for families: at 10:00 a paper pumpkin workshop for children, at 12:00 stories from the Enchanted Forest, at 4:00 PM the pentolaccia (a piñata) and at 5:00 PM a free costume contest for adults and children. At 6:30 PM there is the dance performance “Il corpo che racconta l’anima” and at 7:30 PM the night ghost walk sets off in small groups along the trails, on a haunted route built by the residents of the Casa Johnny & Mary community in Paliano.
During the day there are also costumed reenactors with Viking battles and archery, face painting, baby dance and a themed DJ set. Tickets cost 6 euros for adults and 4 euros for children under 12 and include the workshops, stories, contest, pentolaccia, show and walk; archery and face painting are extra.
