The medieval village of Canterano, in the Aniene Valley, hosts the thirteenth edition of the Truffle Festival (“Sagra del Tartufo”), taking place over two weekends: 10-11 and 17-18 October 2026 (Saturdays 12:00 pm-10:00 pm, Sundays 12:00 pm-5:00 pm).
The village’s alleys offer fresh truffle and truffle-based products, cheeses, cured meats, traditional sweets and zero-kilometre local specialties, alongside open cellars for tasting wines from Lazio. There is also music spreading from the square to the alleys, mini-concerts and DJ sets, plus a photo booth area and anti-food-waste initiatives.
