On Sunday 8 November 2026, from 12:30 PM, the Pro Loco of San Cesareo hosts “Sapori Sancesaresi, Lane e tradizioni” in Piazzale La Villetta, a day devoted to the town’s cooking, with the backing of the Municipality and the help of the town band and choir, the senior citizens’ centre and several local associations and neighbourhood committees. If the weather is bad, lunch moves indoors to the senior citizens’ centre.
The tasting menu offers lane (a local pasta) with salt cod, bruschetta with lard and all’amatriciana, polenta pizzas, stew with potatoes, ciambelline biscuits, water and local wine; for children there is pasta with tomato sauce. Tickets are on sale in advance at the Chiosco dei Cedri, the senior citizens’ centre in San Cesareo and the Gold Style jewellery shop; the price has not been published yet.
