On Sunday, November 8, 2026, starting at 9:00 am, Subiaco hosts the 2026 edition of the “Trail sui Sentieri dei Santi” (“Trail on the Saints’ Paths”), a 13 km race with 800 metres of elevation gain, open to both competitive and non-competitive runners. The course crosses the woods of the Simbruini Mountains, passing sites of spirituality and nature, including the Sacro Speco where St. Benedict lived as a hermit and the Monastery of Santa Scolastica. At 9:30 am the Kids Trail also sets off, a free 2 km route for children under 15.
The event is organized by ASD Trail Monti Simbruini in collaboration with the Municipality of Subiaco and the Monti Simbruini Regional Nature Park, and supports the Blood Donors Association of the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital and ANFFAS Subiaco.
