The photos
- 1: The view from Via della Libertà over the green slope: an old stone house with a pergola among the trees and cypresses, and the apartment buildings higher up.
- 2: Via del Monte climbs between houses with shutters and flower pots towards the wall with white stone buttresses, below the church bell tower.
- 3: The brick wall with white stone buttresses that holds up the church lawn; above it, the pointed bell tower.
- 4: From the street, beyond the railing, the view of the hill with the two tall pines and, in the background, the mountains in the haze.
- 5: The road that winds around the hill, below the brick and stone wall of the church, with a green bench and street lamps on the valley side.
- 6: Stone houses with green shutters seen from above, with the woods and the mountains behind them.
- 7: A stone stairway climbs beneath the arches between the houses, among climbing roses and pots of geraniums
- 8: A cobbled stairway between two green railings, in the shade of the trees, with a house and a street lamp at the bottom.

- 11: The tree-lined lawn beside the church, with benches, street lamps and the stone well with its little roof.
- 12: Piazza San Biagio. Three magical doors, full of fond memories, of work and of faith. For many years there was actually an inscription on the wall calling people to work and prayer. I also remember a time when I was more or less invited to join a game of tombola (Italian bingo), in there on the left, where all the "nabballeri" boys were, and of course Don Marcello was there too.
