A short walk through the heart of the “nnabballe” medieval quarter, taking in two of San Vito Romano’s most characteristic corners.
It starts at Via dell’Arringo, a steep, cobbled lane that descends downhill from the Theodoli Castle between stone houses and iron railings, with views opening onto the rooftops of the old town and the surrounding hills. From here, weaving through the narrow alleys and steps of the historic centre, a few minutes’ walk brings you to Vicolo Baciadonne: a secluded, almost hidden corner, among stone archways, ancient walls and an old wooden door, not far from Piazza San Biagio.
A short walk, but full of atmosphere, best taken slowly — perhaps asking a local for directions along the way: getting a little lost among these alleys is part of the charm.
